The Polar Lights model, reference SO33L103, is inspired by the natural phenomenon of the Northern Lights. This edition captures the essence of the celestial colours visible from space, reflecting the wonder felt by astronauts when witnessing these atmospheric phenomena on Earth. The dial is designed to evoke a starry night sky. This watch celebrates the spirit of space exploration inherent in the Speedmaster’s history, whilst offering a technical and contemporary chromatic interpretation.

The watch features an asymmetrical case measuring 42 millimetres in diameter and 13 millimetres thick. Its monobloc design is crafted from turquoise-coloured bioceramic, a hybrid material with a matt finish. The fixed blue bezel features the tachymeter scale with a dot positioned above the number 90. The dark blue dial incorporates silver particles that mimic the effect of aventurine glass. It features three recessed sub-dials. The sword-shaped hands and hour markers are filled with white luminescent material. The watch is powered by an ETA quartz calibre movement providing chronograph functionality. It is water-resistant to 3 bar. A navy blue technical fabric strap with a hook-and-loop fastening secures the watch to the wrist.
