The MoonSwatch was born from an unprecedented collaboration between Swatch and Omega, built around the Speedmaster Moonwatch : the first watch worn on the Moon. It carries forward the Speedmaster's essential design codes : asymmetric 42 mm blue bioceramic case, tachymeter bezel with the iconic "dot over 90", and three recessed subdials including a small seconds at 6 o'clock. Bioceramic (Swatch's patented composite of ceramic and rapeseed oil) is light weight, scratch-resistant, and unmistakable to the touch.
The biosourced plexiglass crystal features an etched "S" at its center, visible under light, along with a fine circular pattern on the dial's outer ring. The angular yet smooth lug construction and overall case finish reflect the attention to detail shared across the entire collection. Super-LumiNova covers all hands (hours, minutes, seconds) and hour markers for flawless legibility in the dark. Water resistance : 30m / 3 ATM.
