Selected by NASA at the beginning of the 1960s, it accompanied astronauts during the Apollo missions and became the first watch worn on the Moon. Case, calibre and bracelet
This Omega is fitted with the Omega calibre 321 manual-winding chronograph movement, composed of 17 jewels, offering a 44-hour power reserve and a rhodium-plated finish. The 42 mm stainless steel case houses a black dial featuring the signature Moonwatch hands, a vintage Omega logo, a small seconds counter, a 30-minute counter, a 12-hour counter and a central chronograph seconds hand. The watch is topped with a black bezel featuring a tachymeter scale. The ensemble is completed by a stainless steel bracelet with an Omega steel covered folding clasp.
