Vacheron Constantin developed the Overseas collection to meet the needs of travellers. Reference 5500V/110A-B148 belongs to the third generation, unveiled in 2016. The design of this chronograph is based on a specific feature. Its six-sided notched bezel takes its inspiration directly from the Maltese cross, the manufacture’s emblem since 1880. This geometric shape defines the structure of the entire timepiece.

The stainless steel case measures 42.5 mm in diameter. It features alternating brushed and polished finishes. The blue lacquered dial features a sunburst finish and incorporates three blued sub-dials for the chronograph. The watch is fitted with the calibre 5200, an in-house self-winding movement offering a power reserve of 52 hours. This mechanism contains 54 jewels and reveals its column wheel through the sapphire crystal case back. It is water-resistant to 150 metres. The steel bracelet consists of links modelled on the outline of a half Maltese cross, secured by a folding clasp.
