Unveiled at Prada’s Spring/Summer 2025 fashion show in Milan in September 2024, the bucket-style Prada Buckle bag features the buckle strap from the two-handle model, wrapped around the opening. The Milanese fashion house, founded in 1913, offers this bucket bag with three different strap options: leather, studded or jewelled. This pre-owned piece, reference 1BE085, features the jewelled strap on Briarwood calfskin, a brown shade with a slight purplish sheen.
Materials, dimensions and finishes
The bucket bag measures 26.5 × 29 × 18 cm and is crafted from fine-grained Soft Grain calfskin, accented with fawn-coloured topstitching. The jewelled belt, crafted from gold-tone metal mesh, runs through leather loops around the opening and fastens with a tortoiseshell-effect resin buckle, in shades of red and brown, engraved with ‘PRADA’ and secured by a gold-tone pin. Its ends are fitted with rectangular gold-coloured end caps, and a thin gold chain finished with a tassel runs down the side. The ‘PRADA MILANO’ logo is embossed in gold on the front. The wide leather shoulder strap is designed to be worn over the shoulder. The interior is lined with nappa leather in the same shade, stamped ‘PRADA Made in Italy’ in gold.

Contents and condition
The bag comes with its Prada dust bag. It has been worn previously and shows only slight signs of wear. The resin buckle has a few fine surface marks, visible only up close.
