The pear cut, developed during the 15th century, is the result of complex engineering that blends the classic roundness of the brilliant cut with the dynamic asymmetry of the marquise cut. This pre-owned, unmarked ring showcases this shape through a delicate 14-carat white gold setting. It features a pink sapphire with an estimated weight of 1.00 carat. The stone captures the eye with its vivid colour and clarity. Its brilliance is enhanced by a halo and shoulders set with 38 diamonds, with an estimated total carat weight of 0.50 carats.

The integrity of this piece rests on a raised central setting, designed to protect the gemstone. The sapphire is held in place by three prongs, including a ‘V’-shaped prong specifically positioned at the tip of the pear shape to protect it from impact. This central motif is encircled by a fine line of diamonds set in a beaded setting. This luminous continuity extends symmetrically along the shanks of the ring, visually slimming the finger. The entire alloy has been given a uniform mirror polish.
