This Chopard, reference 16/1256-1002, was created from the exclusive partnership between Chopard and the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique, an iconic event organised by the Monaco Automobile Club. This edition pays tribute to the legendary single-seaters and racing cars that have marked the history of motorsport in Monaco. Inspired by the world of prestigious motor racing, this white gold chronograph embodies a refined and elegant vision of the racing watch, designed for collectors of rare commemorative timepieces.
Case, movement and bracelet
This model features a 40 mm 18-carat white gold case, offering an ideal balance between elegance and sportiness. It is powered by a self-winding mechanical chronograph, calibre Chopard 1188, composed of 25 jewels. The black dial displays white twin counters, a tachymeter scale engraved on the rehaut, and the official Monaco Automobile Club logo at 6 o’clock. The whole is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and completed by a screwed caseback revealing the movement. The watch is fitted with a perforated Chopard leather strap, secured by a Chopard 18-carat white gold pin buckle.
