It acquired its modern name on the tennis courts in the 1980s following a famous incident. This version creates a visual contrast through the use of a two-tone alloy. The craftsmen have selected 29 brilliant-cut diamonds with an estimated total weight of 1.16 carats. These colourless gemstones are set in a 750 yellow and white gold setting. Architecture and jewellery craftsmanship
The articulated structure features an alternating pattern of softened rectangular links in yellow gold and round cradles crafted from white gold. This technical choice creates a regular visual rhythm. The half-bezel setting holds each diamond in place with two arcs of white gold. This setting method allows light to pass through the sides. The clasp is a ratchet clasp concealed within the extension of the links and is secured by a yellow gold wire curved into a figure of eight.
