In 2023, Omega is celebrating the 75th anniversary of its line with the Summer Blue collection. Designed to meet the demands of divers, the range now takes on a commemorative dimension. The distinctive feature of this edition lies in its dial, whose blue gradient darkens in proportion to the watch’s water resistance. Reference 215.30.40.20.03.002 features a dark blue hue around its edge, evoking the marine environment 600 metres below the surface.

This watch features a 39.5 mm diameter stainless steel case, 14.2 mm thick. The asymmetrical design incorporates a helium escape valve at 10 o’clock. The ceramic dial features applied hour markers and rhodium-plated hands filled with light-coloured luminescent material. The unidirectional rotating bezel features a blue ceramic insert and a diving scale. The watch is powered by the calibre 8800, a self-winding movement certified as a Master Chronometer. It offers a power reserve of 55 hours and operates at a frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour. The stainless steel bracelet alternates between brushed and polished finishes. It fastens with a folding clasp fitted with a patented extension system.

Polishing can be carried out on request to restore it to its original appearance.
