The history of this Hublot Classic Fusion
In 1980, Carlo Crocco shook up the conservative codes of Swiss fine watchmaking by combining a precious metal with a black natural rubber strap for the very first time. The singular design of this first watch was directly inspired by a ship's porthole and literally gave its name to the Manufacture. The Classic Fusion collection pays homage to this original pure line while incorporating the brand's contemporary codes. This Hublot Classic Fusion watch, reference 568.NX.1170.NX, perfectly illustrates this bold aesthetic philosophy. It offers a modern vision of the concept of fusion by exploiting the properties of cutting-edge technical materials to meet the expectations of lovers of fine mechanics.
Case, calibre and bracelet of this Classic Fusion
The 38 mm case is forged in titanium, an alloy renowned for its lightness and robustness when worn. The brushed bezel is secured by 6 H-shaped screws characteristic of the Manufacture. On either side of the case are the famous black composite resin lugs. The matt black dial absorbs the light and highlights the applied hour-markers and the rhodium-plated, facetted glaive-shaped hands. The deliberate absence of luminescent material reinforces the purity of this model's design. A date window is discreetly integrated at 3 o'clock beneath the anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The transparent back reveals the self-winding HUB1110 calibre. This movement oscillates at 4 Hz and offers approximately 42 hours of power reserve. Its architecture features 25 jewels. It is water-resistant to 50 metres. The integrated titanium bracelet alternates brushed and polished surfaces and is secured via a concealed butterfly folding clasp.
Why this Hublot watch

It is a fine gateway to the world of Manufacture, with a particularly attractive balance between technical sophistication and pleasure. It is a timepiece that adapts to all everyday situations with great discretion.
