These Chopard earrings in 18-carat rose gold, reference 837031-5001, feature this logo in a large format, engraved along the visible surface. The matt-finished letters stand out against a mirror-polished background, so that the brand’s name appears or fades depending on the angle of the light. Now discontinued from the brand’s catalogue, this model is available second-hand.
Architecture and jewellery craftsmanship
Each hoop forms a half-hoop 16 mm high by 7.6 mm wide, with a domed profile and softened edges. The design is bold and the curve nestles against the earlobe, giving the pair a striking presence even without any gemstones. The band is solid, polished on both its sides and front, and the engraving runs the full height of the piece. The fastening combines a post for pierced ears and a hinged clip, the openwork lever of which folds down behind the earlobe to ensure a secure fit. The interior, which is also polished, bears the Chopard signature, the 750 hallmark and the reference number, all engraved.
