The sculptural design of the Croisée ring
The ‘Toi et Moi’ motif traditionally symbolises the union of two people through two gemstones. In the 1990s, Cartier reinterpreted this classic by replacing the stones with a face-to-face arrangement of pure metal. The H 92905 model is characteristic of that decade, when design favoured clean lines and a substantial structure.
Architecture and jewellery craftsmanship
The setting is structured around two broad, solid lobes that intersect diagonally. The absence of gemstone settings highlights the full mirror polish executed by the manufacture. The yellow metal catches the light across all its curves. This substantial design measures 23 mm in width on the finger. The thickness of the band confirms the intention to create a piece with generous volume.
Why choose this second-hand ring
Opting for this vintage creation offers the chance to acquire a substantial ring featuring a density of gold that has become rare in current collections. The second-hand market allows you to acquire a timeless design whilst benefiting from a higher volume of precious metal than is standard today, all for a modest investment.
