The Cartier Love bracelet with a single-screw clasp
Designed by Aldo Cipullo and unveiled by Cartier in New York in 1969, the Love bracelet draws its screw motifs from New York architecture and engineering. This classic model, reference B6082217, retains the original oval shape but features a functional single-screw clasp, complemented by a hinge. It is crafted from 18-carat white gold, hallmarked 750, and set with 4 brilliant-cut diamonds totalling 0.42 carats. This pre-owned piece was purchased in March 2026 and comes with all its original documentation.
Architecture and jewellery craftsmanship
The 6.1 mm wide oval bangle features a mirror-polished exterior and a satin-finished interior. The four diamonds are set in a closed setting, flush with the metal, and alternate with engraved screw motifs that punctuate the outline. On the reverse, each stone remains visible through a hexagonal opening. The hinge, integrated into the thickness of the bangle, allows the two half-circles to pivot over one another, whilst the screw positioned on the opposite side secures the clasp. The diamonds sit flush with the polished surface and catch the light with every movement of the wrist.
