The name of this piece dates back to 1987, when tennis player Chris Evert had a US Open match interrupted so she could retrieve her ‘river of diamonds’, the clasp of which had broken. This articulated model, crafted from 750 white gold, features a continuous line of 79 natural brilliant-cut diamonds. As a pre-owned piece, this version has an estimated total weight of 1.58 carats. The minimalist design draws the eye to the transparency and uniformity of the gemstones’ cuts.

The structure of the setting is designed to articulate smoothly around the wrist. Each diamond rests within a square bezel, secured by a classic 4-prong setting. This technical choice leaves the diamond’s culet exposed, allowing light to pass freely through the stone.
