Classic purity
The tradition of the solitaire dates back to the late 15th century, establishing the diamond as a symbol of enduring value thanks to its unchanging hardness. This pre-owned, unmarked ring carries on this legacy with an 18-carat white gold setting. It showcases a central brilliant-cut diamond weighing 0.20 carats. The stone, with its striking clarity, is set slightly raised to capture light from all angles. Its brilliance is enhanced by a row of accent diamonds set along the band, bringing the total carat weight to 0.30 carats.
Architecture and jewellery craftsmanship
The integrity of this piece rests on a raised central setting secured by four prongs. This jewellery-making technique exposes the pavilion of the main diamond to optimise its light refraction. The ring’s shoulder, with its balanced structure, features a pavé setting of accent diamonds secured by a grain setting. The secondary gemstones are set in a narrow channel, providing lateral protection whilst drawing the eye towards the centre stone. The entire setting has been given a full mirror polish.
Why choose this second-hand solitaire ring
Purchasing a new diamond solitaire involves significant mark-ups linked to contemporary jewellery design. Choosing this pre-owned piece allows you to acquire a timeless classic totalling 0.30 carats on a solid gold setting, at a reasonable price. The absence of a designer’s signature means the purchase value is based strictly on the material quality of the alloy and the quality of the setting. It is a sensible choice for an engagement ring or an everyday ring, combining understated elegance with a measured investment.
