316L steel box with a diameter of 44 mm strongly inspired by the lines of the iconic Ford Mustang. Smooth bezel in black PVD steel. The crown is designed to reflect the Mustang GT350's gas cap.
We find the iconic Mustang taillights that are subtly laser engraved on the right side of the case. The laser-engraved Mustang grille is presented on the left side of the P-51.
Some will say that Mustang's taillights are as iconic as the Fuchs wheels on the Porsche 911. And we still find them today on the new generation of Mustang.
Handmade metal frame from a recycled Ford Mustang. Each dial is covered with a layer of semi-transparent gray lacquer, ensuring that the patina does not spread to other parts of the watch, it ensures uniqueness in each P-51 piece as each dial is unique.
The noon power reserve disc is created to resemble the fuel gauge of a Mustang. But while on the classic Mustang the E (empty) indicator is on the left, it was reversed on the P-51 due to the mechanical movement.
The black three-hand, date-facing center dial is inspired by the Ford Mustang's dashboard.
Each P-51 watch is engraved with the unique Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and year of the recovered Mustang that was used to make the P-51 watch that is on the cadarn at 10 a.m.
The number of watches made from the Mustang depends on the car and the parts offered at REC Watches, which means that some watches are manufactured in very limited numbers, up to 250 copies.
