At the heart of the Capeland Shelby® Cobra collection is a chronograph powered by a Swiss-made automatic movement.
The 44 mm-diameter case, in polished and satin-finished steel, surrounds a dial whose counters recall the Cobra's iconic dashboard.
The dial is subtly complemented by the two grey horizontal stripes of the racing car, hour and minute hands drawn after the shape of the steering wheel and a seconds hand bearing the famous Cobra logo. Equally elegant, the strap is fashioned from black alligator leather, with yellow calfskin lining, white stitching and triple folding buckle with safety pushers.
To underline the authenticity of this Capeland timepiece, the sapphire crystal on the caseback is engraved with the name of the collection and the words "One out of 1963" in reference to the number of limited edition pieces and the year of the Cobra's first victory in the American championship. The sapphire crystal features the famous race number "15" of the winning car, the Shelby Cobra Roadster chassis CSX2128...
