Platinum case of 41 mm in diameter with brown drakkar calf leather strap with white stitching and Breitling pin buckle in 750 / 18 carat white gold. Navy blue dial triple counters with small seconds at 9 o'clock, counter 15 minutes of the chrono at 3 o'clock and counter of the hours at 6 o'clock. luminescent indexes and hands. Bi-directional rotating bezel. Hesalite glass.

In the 1950s, the original Co-Pilot Ref. 765 AVI version shared the spotlight with another Breitling icon, the Navitimer. With its bold design, engraved rotating bezel and extremely legible dial, the 765 AVI, a robust and reliable pilot's watch, immediately became the Navitimer's ideal ally. Today, the AVI 1953 Edition watch is a luxurious version of the Co-Pilot Ref. 765 AVI dating from 1953. The all-blue dial, protected by a domed hesalite glass, features the same Arabic numerals as the original Co-Pilot with tone-on-tone counters for the small second, 15 minutes and 12 hours. The Super-LumiNova® applied by hand was carefully chosen to recall the original luminescent coating and brings to the AVI 1953 Edition an additional vintage note.
