The Harmony solitaire
In 1886, Charles Lewis Tiffany unveiled a setting that raises the diamond above the ring. The Tiffany Harmony collection builds on this concept with four prongs and a tapered band, proportioned so that the Harmony wedding ring fits snugly against it. This pre-owned 950 platinum ring features a 0.60-carat round brilliant-cut diamond, colour F, clarity VVS1, with no fluorescence. The Tiffany certificate notes its excellent cut, symmetry and polish, and certifies the ‘T&Co.’ laser inscription engraved on the stone’s crown.
Architecture and jewellery craftsmanship
The 4-prong setting holds the stone above the band, and a low crossbar connects the prongs to reinforce the head. The shoulders rise from the band to frame the setting, leaving an open space beneath the diamond so that light can also reach the pavilion from the sides. No accent stones distract from the centre stone. The platinum is mirror-polished across its entire surface. Naturally white, it requires no rhodium plating to retain its colour and remains denser than gold for the same volume.

At Tiffany, every diamond in an engagement ring is selected and graded by the House before being set. An F colour is classified as colourless, and a VVS1 clarity ranks just below the IF grade. Contents and condition
The ring is size 51 and is in mint condition, with platinum showing no signs of wear and intact prongs. It comes with its Tiffany Blue leather case, cardboard box, bag, certificate pouch and a Tiffany & Co. booklet. The Tiffany diamond certificate and the accompanying letter from the Tiffany & Co. boutique in Geneva complete the set.
