The Spiro collection by Tiffany & Co.
Founded in New York in 1837, Tiffany & Co. made its signature blue a hallmark as early as 1845, the year it featured on the cover of its first catalogue, the Blue Book. It can be seen on the pouch supplied with this pre-owned bracelet. In the early 1990s, the company designed the Spiro collection, centred around a double-spiral motif, which it produced in rings, earrings, pendants and bracelets. This 18-carat yellow gold model echoes this design principle, with each link forming an ‘S’ shape, the two ends of which curl into a scroll.
Architecture and jewellery craftsmanship
The bracelet consists of rigid S-shaped links, connected by hinges. Each joint has a slight amount of play, allowing the bracelet to follow the curve of the wrist. The visible side is sculpted with raised spirals, whose polished ridges contrast with the satin-finished hollows. The reverse side is smooth and polished. The 18-carat yellow gold is solidly crafted, giving the bracelet a bold presence and a weight that is clearly noticeable on the wrist. The tongue clasp, integrated into the final link, opens via a push-button and does not disrupt the line of the spirals when closed.

Designed over 30 years ago, the Spiro collection is now available on the pre-owned market. For a comparable amount of gold, a current bracelet from the House is in a completely different price bracket. This second-hand piece offers access to a signature, solid-gold model from that era. Contents and condition
The bracelet measures 19 cm. On the reverse of the clasp link, it bears the Tiffany & Co. signature, the 750 hallmark and the inscription © 1993. It shows normal signs of wear, mainly micro-scratches on the polished reverse side, whilst the relief on the sculpted front remains sharp. A refurbishment by our jeweller, including polishing and a check of the clasp, can be arranged on request at the time of sale. It comes with its original blue Tiffany & Co. pouch.
