Presented at the Spring-Summer 2022 show, the Amen Break collection elevates the famous trainer to the status of a piece of craftsmanship. The 1A9V9W model is the perfect embodiment of this vision. This edition is particularly noteworthy for its history: for the first time since 1982, Nike has allowed its iconic model to be manufactured outside its own factories. This pair has therefore been assembled entirely by hand by Louis Vuitton's leather craftsmen at the Fiesso d'Artico factory in Veneto.

Proposed in size LV 090, corresponding to a European 43, the shoe respects the balance of the original volumes with a full, structured toe. The upper is crafted from supple full-grain calf leather. The white leather is precisely embossed with the historic motif, while the green inserts feature the same printed Monogram. The cupsole assembly is a testament to Italian craftsmanship: the upper is meticulously fitted and then securely sewn to the perimeter sole. The whole assembly rests on a green outsole featuring the original pivot circles, and incorporates the cushioning capsule in its midsole block. The interior, entirely lined in white fabric, offers a very fluid fit.
