Graham draws its inspiration from British watchmaking and military heritage. The Chronofighter range is distinguished by a unique technical feature: its start/stop lever, situated on the left-hand side. Originally designed for bomber pilots who needed to operate their chronograph with their thumb without removing their gloves, this system finds a maritime application in the 2CDAZ.B04A model. Underwater, this mechanism allows divers to start a time measurement intuitively. This technical ingenuity is complemented by a functional aesthetic, combining the requirements of a diving watch with premium materials.
Case, movement and strap of this Chronofighter Prodive
The 45 mm case is crafted from stainless steel and finished with a matt black DLC coating. This understated finish contrasts with the 18-carat rose gold elements, notably the notched bezel, the crown and the chronograph lever. The deep blue dial features large hour markers and rose gold-rimmed hands coated with a light-coloured luminescent material. A sub-dial featuring a rotating four-bladed propeller confirms the watch’s functionality whilst submerged. The watch is powered by the G1750 calibre, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, featuring 25 jewels and delivering a 48-hour power reserve. Protected by a domed sapphire crystal and an engraved solid case back, the watch is water-resistant to 600 metres thanks to an integrated helium escape valve. The black textured rubber strap fastens with a DLC-coated steel folding clasp featuring a diving extension.

This watch, dated September 2018, comes complete with its reinforced Pelican-style carrying case, watch passport and handwritten certificate of origin. The watch is in very good condition. The black DLC case remains intact with no deep scratches, and the textured rubber strap remains supple and clean. There are a few slight signs of wear resulting from careful use, confirming its excellent overall presentation.
