Crafted in 18-carat yellow gold, the set offers a variety of looks thanks to its gemstones, ranging from onyx to coral, including tiger’s eye, haematite, labradorite, chrysoprase and pearls.
Architecture and jewellery craftsmanship
The openwork setting reveals precise goldsmithing. It alternates between polished edges and deep grooves imitating tree bark. The technique lies in its wrap-set mechanism. A hinge concealed within the base allows the rear section to be opened so that the sphere can be slipped inside. Once closed, the setting holds the stone securely in place, without the need for traditional prongs.
