The history of this Ebel 1911
Ebel was founded by Eugène Blum and Alice Lévy. Launched in 1986 to mark the manufacture’s 75th anniversary, the 1911 collection embodies a balance between precision and fluidity. Reference 08.1.14.2045 embodies this vision with its distinctive monobloc design. This timepiece meets the demand for a versatile watch, capable of adorning the wrist with elegance whilst offering unbeatable robustness.
Case, movement and strap of this 1911
The design of this timepiece is centred on a 40 mm diameter steel case with a gently rounded hexagonal shape. The smooth bezel is secured by five recessed, polished screws, ensuring water resistance to 100 metres. Beneath the sapphire crystal, the matt white dial prioritises legibility. It features raised hour markers and sword-shaped hands fitted with luminescent material. A date window at 6 o’clock displays the date. This watch is powered by a Swiss Ebel quartz movement, offering a power reserve of approximately 3 years thanks to its long-life battery. The steel bracelet flows seamlessly into the case, alternating between brushed and polished links, and fastens with a folding clasp.
Why choose this Ebel watch
Opting for this model on the second-hand market allows you to acquire a distinctive aesthetic signature at a reasonable price. This version with a light-coloured dial contrasts with the brushed steel, making it ideal for discreet everyday wear. This particular configuration combines the reliability of a quartz movement with the heritage of a Swiss watchmaker.
