The history of this Breitling Superocean Heritage
Breitling launched the range in 1957 to meet the emerging needs of professional and military divers. At a time when underwater exploration was booming worldwide, the brand designed marine instruments of proven reliability. The Superocean Heritage model pays tribute to this historic timepiece by retaining its aesthetic hallmarks. The reference AB2030161C1A1 follows in this tradition. The history of this range reached a technical milestone thanks to a watchmaking collaboration between Breitling and Tudor. Breitling shared its B01 chronograph, whilst Tudor provided the basis for its calibre, giving rise to the movement that powers this timepiece.

Why this Breitling watch
This version strikes a compelling balance between technical excellence and aesthetic appeal. The combination of the blue dial, the ceramic bezel and the Milanese mesh strap offers an interesting contrast of materials and excellent legibility. On the pre-owned market, this configuration is highly sought-after as it is suitable for everyday wear whilst retaining a strong visual identity. The certified in-house calibre lends tangible mechanical value to this model. Purchasing it second-hand provides access to this level of craftsmanship at an attractive price point.
