Hand-wound mechanical movement. Calibre AP 2905, comprising 233 parts with a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, 31 jewels and a power reserve of 168 hours.

Rose gold oval case 47 mm in diameter, anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
Dial comprising a small dial at 7 o'clock for deadbeat seconds, and a second silvered dial with blued applied Roman numerals and blued skeleton hands for displaying hours and minutes. Tourbillion cage at 9 o'clock. Brown alligator leather strap with topstitching, pink gold folding clasp signed "Audemars Piguet"

The deadbeat seconds complication: with an ordinary mechanical watch, beats per hour (vph) translate into the frequency at which the seconds hand advances - giving the seconds hand the perception of fluid movement, also known as the "center seconds hand". With the deadbeat seconds complication, the seconds hand jumps every second. This complication is achieved by an additional gear driven by a second barrel. AP has designed a system with two superimposed seconds wheels driven by a "differential", one of which is freewheeling and moves steadily at the rate of the VPH, while the other wears wolf's teeth and moves in jerks, hence the jumping seconds.
