The full-band wedding ring by Adler Joailliers
Founded in Constantinople in 1886 by Jacques Adler, Adler Joailliers has been based in Geneva since 1973. This full-circle wedding ring in 18-carat white gold bears the brand’s signature engraved on the inside of the band, alongside the 750 hallmark. It features 99 brilliant-cut diamonds with an estimated total weight of 1.77 carats, arranged in three rows that run the full circumference of the ring. Offered here as a pre-owned piece, it draws on the concept of the eternity ring – a continuous row of stones – and extends this design down the sides of the band.
Architecture and jewellery craftsmanship
At the centre, 27 diamonds, each weighing approximately 0.04 carats – an estimated total of 1.05 carats – are grain-set within a channel edged by two polished gold fillets. On either side, the bevelled edges each feature a row of 36 finer diamonds, also set in a grain setting, totalling an estimated 0.72 carats across both sides. This three-sided profile ensures the stones are visible from both the front and the side, so that the hand remains illuminated whatever the angle of movement. The satin-finished interior features openwork beneath the stones, which lightens the setting and allows light to reach the diamonds from below.
Why choose this second-hand wedding ring
A full-circle wedding ring requires each stone to be set around the entire circumference, then arranged in three rows on a narrow band. This labour-intensive process drives up the price of a new creation. The second-hand piece offers nearly 1.8 carats of diamonds bearing a Geneva hallmark, with the original setting verified by our workshop. The grain setting, set flush with the metal, is less likely to snag and is ideal for everyday wear.
Contents and condition
The inside of the band bears the Adler signature and the 750 hallmark for 18-carat gold. The ring is size 52. As it is fully set all the way round its circumference, it cannot be resized. Our master jeweller has polished it and checked each of the 99 settings before it went on sale. It is delivered in a The Swiss Collector box.
