The history of this Hublot Bigger Bang Prototype
This Hublot, reference 308.CI.0134.RX, represents one of the rarest and most spectacular creations of the manufacture. From the Big Bang universe, it embodies the Art of Fusion at its highest level, combining high watchmaking complications with technical materials. Its prototype status, numbered 000/500, makes it an extraordinary piece, intended for discerning collectors seeking a unique timepiece not issued from standard production.
Case, movement and bracelet
This watch features a 44 mm case in titanium and ceramic, paired with a tantalum bezel, a rare and distinctive material. The 3D satin-finished grey dial showcases a complex architecture with a one-minute tourbillon at 6 o’clock, a 5-day power reserve indicator at 9 o’clock, as well as a monopusher chronograph displaying seconds at 2 o’clock and minutes at 10 o’clock. The ensemble is powered by the manual-winding HUB6300 calibre, offering a 120-hour power reserve, a true mechanical achievement. The movement is visible through the engraved screw-down case back with sapphire crystal, revealing the gear train. The watch is fitted with a leather and rubber strap with red stitching, complemented by two additional Hublot gummy bang straps in red and black, and a PVD-treated steel folding clasp. The whole is protected by a sapphire crystal with circular anti-reflective and satin treatment and offers water resistance to 30 metres.
