Blackout Watches is a young Swiss brand based in Geneva, heir to Blackout Concept, initially known for customising watches from the great Maisons. Taken over in 2022 by Tymothy Plubeau and Etienne Rousseaux, the brand chose to create its own models, combining luxury watchmaking, contemporary materials and accessible prices. Case, calibre and bracelet
The 44-millimetre luminescent forged carbon case draws a powerful silhouette that hugs the wrist and offers excellent presence. The case reveals an openworked architecture in which every finishing detail highlights the flying tourbillon at six o’clock, like a true mechanical gallery. The specifications of this model emphasise a high-quality technical construction, designed for uncompromising sports use. At the heart of the watch beats an XP1 Tourbillon hand-wound calibre derived from the PTS 3481D calibre with double barrel, which offers a power reserve of around 72 hours for stable daily accuracy. It is assembled and checked in Geneva to guarantee excellent reliability and a smooth sweep of the seconds. An orange rubber strap completes the ensemble, secured by a black folding clasp inspired by the buckles used by certain great Maisons. On other references in the range, pin buckles are offered, but all share the same careful design and contemporary touch.
