For 12 years, Montblanc has celebrated the Chinese zodiac sign of the current year. Lunar New Year 2024 will mark the beginning of the Year of the Dragon. To mark the occasion, Montblanc is launching The Legend of Zodiacs The Dragon, a limited edition of 512 pieces (8 x 8 x 8) dedicated to the sign of the dragon, which also celebrates the number 8, considered a lucky charm in Asian culture. The 925 sterling silver cap is hand-engraved with a dragon motif. The rose gold-plated body is adorned with delicate engravings inspired by the "lucky cloud". A 0.45-carat amethyst decorates the pinkish-gold cone, in reference to the birthstone associated with the dragon sign. The current year, 2024, is engraved on the cap ring, as are the previous six dragon years. The cap is crowned with the Montblanc emblem in mother-of-pearl. The hand-crafted 750/1000 gold nib is finely engraved with the Chinese character "dragon".
